Our North Garden, VA sawmill is hiring for a wheel loader/front loader operator. The positions primary responsibilities include moving various materials such as logs, cants, and packs of lumber. These are full time opportunities working for a world class hardwood lumber manufacturer.

Front End Loader Operator Pay & Benefits

Heavy Equipment Log Operator Responsibilities

• Adherence to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures
• Unload incoming log trucks and sort hardwood logs by species
• Keep up with sawmill operations and process flow by loading/unloading material on decks
• Ability to work independently
• Assist shipping dept as needed for various duties
• Capable of working efficiently/safe as well as keeping a high level of precision

Heavy Equipment Log Operator Qualifications

• Previous experience as an equipment operator using a wheel loader or similar machine
• Must be self motivated and organized
• Willingness to work in outside environment and work overtime
