Location: South Bend & Mishawaka, Indiana
Pay: Based on Experience

United Trades of America is seeking skilled Excavator Operators with experience in installing underground sanitary and storm pipes . This role requires precision, safety awareness, and expertise in operating excavators in various soil conditions and job site environments.

• Operate excavators to excavate, trench, and backfill for underground piping.
• Safely and efficiently install sanitary and storm pipes per project specifications.
• Read and interpret site plans, blueprints, and utility markings.
• Coordinate with ground crew to ensure proper alignment and installation.
• Follow OSHA safety regulations and job site protocols.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance.

Proven experience operating excavators for underground pipe installation.
Understanding of trenching and excavation safety procedures.
Ability to read site plans and follow job instructions.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
