Instrumentation & Electrical Technician Master

Master Control Specialist or Master Electrician. Installs pneumatic tubing, electrical, and electronic installations on equipment in the production area.

Master Control Specialist or Master Electrician. Installs pneumatic tubing, electrical, and electronic installations on equipment in the production area.

Essential Duties:

• Maintains a safe and well-organized work environment.
• Perform Major Electrical repairs and installs alone or as part of a team. Completes and submits required documentation in an accurate and timely fashion. Utilize on the job training of all shop mechanic personnel.
• Develop and train entry and intermediate employees.
• Diagnosis with factory rep help of PLC panels.
• Make changes to panel selection, wiring, etc.
• Maintain a file of installation design and technique for new units through pictures and diagrams.
• Install pneumatic tubing, layout tubing on skids, and connect to end devices.
• Fabricate bracket braces and instrument racks.
• Perform required testing of tubing.
• Bend, fabricate, and install rigid / aluminum EMT, plasti-bond conduit, tubing, and stainless steel 1/4" - 1" thick.
• Install wire and cable by hand, by machine, and in cable trays.
• Test control panels and make connections which ensure the function of the panel yields accurate results.
• Perform unit certification, final inspection, and test document.
• Make changes to panel selection, wiring, etc.
• Make final electrical connections after installation of conduit and tubing.
• Maintain a file of installation design and technique for new units through pictures and diagrams.

Non-Essential Duties: Performs other duties as assigned.
