Job Description

This individual plays a crucial role in the manufacturing of Nor'East Controls' commercial and industrial valve product line. Duties include: assembling, painting, and inspecting valves, ensuring they meet the required specifications and standards. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, technical expertise, and a strong commitment to quality and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

Assembling various types of valves according to detailed specifications and blueprints.
Painting assembled valves using appropriate techniques to ensure a high-quality finish.
Inspecting and testing valves for defects and ensuring they meet quality control standards.
Operating and maintaining painting equipment and tools.
Collaborating with the engineering team to resolve any assembly or painting issues.
Maintaining a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.

Job Requirements

To be successful in this role, the candidate must meet the following requirements:

Educational Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Technical training or coursework in mechanical assembly, painting, or a related field is preferred.

Experience

Previous experience in mechanical assembly and / or industrial painting is highly desirable.
Familiarity with various types of valves and their assembly processes.
Experience using painting equipment and techniques.

Skills

Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
Strong attention to detail and precision in assembly and painting tasks.
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Effective communication skills for collaborating with colleagues and supervisors.
