Farnsworth Group is seeking a Structural Engineer in one of the below posting locations. In this role, you will provide customer-oriented design and construction services to clients nationwide and in the Central Region. This role offers great growth potential. Posting Location(s) for this role: Bloomington, Peoria, and Springfield, IL or St. Louis, MO Job Activities:
- Perform structural analysis and design for building structures and related systems.
- Perform structural analysis and design for Energy and Industrial structures and related systems.
- Develop construction documents and provide construction administration services.
- Perform site visits, client meetings, and coordination with the project team.
- Bachelors (required) or Masters degree (preferred) in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering, with emphasis in structures
- 5-8 years of structural engineering experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) licensure preferred
- Experience with design and construction administration of building structures, preferably both new construction and renovation of existing structures
- Experience designing with common construction materials: steel, concrete, masonry or wood
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Strong team player in a multi-disciplinary environment that can manage and contribute to several projects simultaneously
- Revit and/or AutoCAD proficiency preferred
