We are looking for passionate problem solvers who are eager to collaborate on projects to improve the built environment and the world we live in.
Civil Engineers are responsible for consultation, investigation, evaluation and planning, design, design review and approval, and/or determination of environmental and safety impacts of work processes and products (including, but not limited to building, utilities, systems, sites, roads, and other infrastructures).
C2AE plays a significant role in staff training and development. We will assist you in creating a vision of personal growth for your career, then use this vision to also contribute to the growth of C2AE.
Responsibilities
Engineering and Design (90%)
Use engineering software to design, draft, detail, and modify engineering project designs/plans utilizing firm specifications.
Evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques and procedures.
Review designs for compliance with codes and specifications.
Clarify and resolve technical issues.
May provide technical assistance with proposals and presentations.
May write reports and memorandums and assist with project presentations to clients.
May assist the PM, as requested, in the preparation of cost information.
Other related duties as assigned.
Administrative (10%)
Participate in team meetings, all staff meetings, and other planning sessions.
Participate in training and development activities as needed and directed by supervisor.
Perform administrative tasks including, but not limited to, time sheet completion, expense reports, completing correspondence, etc.
Technical Qualifications
Bachelor of Science from an accredited university, required
Engineer In Training (EIT), preferred
Physical Qualifications
Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time
Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
Physical dexterity and ability to negotiate around a crowded and busy working office area, and around a crowded and busy working area, including construction sites
