About the Position:
The Building Inspector II plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and integrity of construction projects. From reviewing construction plans to performing field inspections, you'll be ensuring compliance with building codes, ordinances, and policies that make our community thrive.

Do You Qualify?
Education & Experience:
A bachelors degree in engineering, Architecture, or a related field, OR
A high school diploma/GED plus an associates degree in building Inspection, Engineering, Architectural Drafting, or related field, along with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
Certifications: Ability to obtain or possess related ICC Residential Building Inspector certifications.
Knowledge: Working knowledge of building, mechanical, energy, and fire codes, as well as state housing laws and local zoning ordinances.
Drivers License: A valid drivers license and insurability are required.
