United Trades of America is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee electrical construction projects from planning through completion. This role involves managing multiple small to medium projects or one large-scale project while ensuring client satisfaction through exceptional service.

This is a travel-based position requiring a commitment of 1-3 years per location. The ideal candidate must be adaptable and ready to work in various environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning & Execution: Develop project plans, coordinate resources, and execute work under the direction of a Senior Project Manager.
  • Team Leadership: Assign tasks to Assistant Project Managers, supervise project activities, and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Budget & Cost Management: Prepare project estimates, review plans and specifications, and manage financial aspects, including progress billing, rental equipment, and expense tracking.
  • Change Management: Supervise change orders, negotiate contract modifications, and ensure alignment with project budgets.
  • Construction Oversight: Work closely with on-site foremen and superintendents to monitor progress, troubleshoot issues, and maintain project schedules.
  • Client & Stakeholder Communication: Represent the company in project meetings, provide updates to senior leadership, and maintain professional relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in electrical construction project management (or equivalent education and experience).
  • Skills & Certifications:
    • Strong leadership and project coordination skills
    • Knowledge of safety protocols and construction regulations
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Accubid, and Oracle preferred
    • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing conditions
Work Conditions:
  • This position is primarily on active construction sites with occasional office duties.
  • Work may involve standing, walking, carrying, and lifting up to 30 lbs.
  • Travel is required (100%) for project assignments.
