An established engineering firm is seeking a Bridge Engineer / Project Manager to join its Transportation team in Wichita. This role involves designing and managing a range of bridge and transportation-related projects, including bridge structures, rehabilitation, inspection, structural analysis, falsework and girder erection, traffic control, and retaining walls.

• Lead the design and production of transportation projects for DOT, turnpike, county, and municipal clients.

• Oversee project management from scoping to final design.

• Provide leadership and guidance to production teams.

• Serve as the primary client contact, maintaining strong relationships.

• Prepare and present project proposals, interviews, and client meetings.

• B.S. in Civil Engineering.

• 5+ years of experience in transportation-related projects.

• Strong background in bridge design and/or roadway design.

• Experience with bridge hydraulics preferred.

• Proficiency in Civil 3D and/or MicroStation (OpenRoads, InRoads, Geopak).

• Familiarity with design software such as MDX, LEAP Bridge, OpenBridge Designer, BRASS-CULVERT, LARSA, and BAR7.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• PE license in Kansas preferred or ability to obtain.

• Knowledge of local standards and regulations preferred.

• Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks under deadlines with sound business judgment.
