Surface Electrician

Job Summary

* The Surface Electrician is responsible for installation, construction, maintenance and repair work.

Responsibilities

* Qualified candidates must have an extensive level of experience in:

Electrical work

Gas and electric welding

Blacksmithing

Rigging and pipe fitting

Machine tool setup and operation

Heavy and light machinery repair

General maintenance

* Maintain, troubleshoot, repair and install electrical equipment and systems

* Occasional painting and carpentry work

* Read blueprints

Qualifications

* Must be a qualified electrical journeyman

* 2 to 3 years of general shop experience

* Must have electrical tools need for daily work

* Strong knowledge in troubleshooting or motor controls, driver and electronic components.

* Must possess an electrical certification
