You love supporting the construction of quality-built homes and are a master liaison between trades and on-site management. You have a strong construction background, including deficiency carpentry work and smaller home renovations.

In your role as Deficiency Carpenter, you will be responsible for the following (dont worry, you will have a full team that will support you along the way):
Onsite Construction
Primary objective of the team is to produce quality homes within schedule.
Demonstrate and demand professionalism at all times.
Ensure framing & finishing deficiency list items are completed as directed by the Quality Supervisor
Assist the Quality Superintendent in the execution of the deficiency-free turnover.
Suggest any construction methods or procedures that may have a positive effect on the completion of the project. Adhere to all company policies with respect to overtime, vacation and procedures that are in place or may be issued from time to time by the Construction Manager.
In addition to field training, the Deficiency Carpenter will participate in educational training and seminars in order to meet the objectives of the job description, and professional growth goals.
Customer Service(Training available if required)
Conduct Homeowner Orientations and pre-delivery inspections prior to sales completion of new single and multi-family homes.
Receiving Customer service work orders;
Schedule and conduct assessment visits with homeowners to determine warrantable items based on submitted customer service requests and the HPO Warranty guidelines.
Review and rectify items on customer service requests as required;
Follow up with outstanding customer service requests to ensure timely completion of all items.
