Mobis is seeking a skilled and motivated Electrician to join our team. As a Skilled Trades Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of electrical theory, safety practices, and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment according to local and national electrical codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan layouts and installations.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues, such as circuit breaker trips or overloaded circuits, using tools like multimeters and clamp meters.
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure safety and functionality.
- Collaborate with other trades professionals to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
- Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and company safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrician apprenticeship program preferred.
- Valid electrician's license, Journeyman, or Master Electrician license.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the electrical trade.
- Proficiency with electrical tools and equipment, including multimeters, wire strippers, and conduit benders.
- Strong knowledge of Ohm's Law, AC/DC principles, and electrical circuit design.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs., work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with low-voltage systems, solar installations, or industrial equipment.
- Familiarity with energy-efficient technologies (e.g., LED lighting, smart systems).
- Experienced in using Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's) and Fanuc Robots.
