Systems Specialist Building Automation

Growing Mechanical Contractor is looking for a Systems Specialist to install, commission, and troubleshoot building automation systems (BAS/BMS) . In this role, youll ensure system performance aligns with design specifications, optimizing energy efficiency and sustainability for our customers.

• Commission and test newly installed direct digital control (DDC) systems

• Troubleshoot and resolve network and operational issues

• Perform system backups, diagnostics, and configuration

• Conduct final inspections, testing, and customer training

• Collaborate with project teams and contractors for seamless system integration

• Adhere to safety protocols and complete required documentation

Basic Requirements:

• Experience with electro-mechanical systems and PC/software applications

• 3+ years in BAS/BMS programming, commissioning, or diagnostics

• Familiarity with LON, BACnet, N2, Modbus , and other industry protocols

• Ability to work in various environments, including roofs, crawl spaces, and high lifts

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office ; ability to use hand tools, laptops, and mobile devices

• Valid drivers license and ability to lift up to 75 lbs
