Drafter / Designer

Staffmark is partnering with a respected architectural firm in Monroe, LA to find a skilled and detail-oriented Drafter/Designer. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to impactful projects from concept through construction. Salary: $50,000 - $60,000/year (Based on experience)

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Create schematic designs and detailed construction documentation
• Support pricing, bidding, and construction processes through accurate documentation
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and internal communications
• Maintain and coordinate BIM models throughout all design phases
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and consultants using Revit and AutoCAD
• Assist with shop drawing reviews and document control
• Conduct site visits and record existing conditions when necessary

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of drafting/design experience in architecture or construction
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office 365
• Strong understanding of commercial construction documentation practices
• Effective communication and organizational skills
• Team-oriented approach with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Familiarity with local building codes and permitting processes is a plus
