Senior Estimator - Pay up to 220K DOE

Seeking a Senior Estimator for a direct hire opportunity with a New York-based civil infrastructure and energy construction company. The position will be based out of the office in Allentown, PA. Pay: $150K-220K based on experience. A Hybrid role can be discussed. Benefits packages include : Medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, Health Savings Account (HSA), short/long term disability and life Insurance We offer a 401k with 5% employer match Potential for annual performance-based raise Paid Time off & Paid company observed holidays Educational and professional advancement opportunities Job Responsibilities for Senior Estimator: Prepare cost estimates for projects as per company business model and industry standards Collaborate with project management staff and external design firms on design-build proposals Manage, oversee, or perform take-offs, evaluations, and quantity surveys Participate and contribute to meetings with estimating staff and operations teams Analyze bid documents to determine the scope of work and prepare the bid in compliance with Owners' requirements Prepare all Requests for Information (RFIs) Suggest value engineering options and costs Work with project management teams throughout the project lifecycle, including pre-construction functions and change orders Mentor junior members of the estimating department Qualifications for Senior Estimator : 5+ years of estimating experience in the underground transmission & distribution industry Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or related field is a plus Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and estimating software systems (HCSS Heavy Bid, Accubid, Quickpen, etc.) Strong understanding of the greater New York & New England construction market Able to work independently or with a team to complete estimates or proposals efficiently while meeting deadlines Effective communication skills, interpersonal and organizational skills, and a strong work ethic If you are interested in learning more about this role, please submit your resume for immediate consideration!
