What We're Looking For:
Barge Design Solutions is seeking an experienced Pipeline Project Engineer to join an office in Georgia. This role is responsible for technical project planning oversight and organization, technical design, preparation and production of reports and bid sets, as well as quality control. Technical lead on multiple projects of moderate size or challenging portions of a major project.
Responsibilities:
- Provides technical guidance on project scope, budgets, and schedules for assignments.
- Supports PM providing technical leadership on various projects.
- Conducts technical planning representing analysis, creating designs, preparing reports, and other various tasks.
- Designs a complete project, system, component, or process.
- Reviews and may prepare complete project documents for conformity and project assurance.
- Influences stakeholders and manages stakeholder relationships within and outside Barge.
- Directs on-site visits to monitor progress of project.
- Directs CADD technicians in preparation of project plans.
- Performs other duties as requested.
Education & Experience Qualifications:
Minimum of 8 years engineering experience & registered PE.
Applies thorough knowledge and proficiency acquired through progressive experience to resolve challenging issues.
May be considered a subject matter expert in a discipline or market practice area.
Keeps informed regarding new methods and developments affecting the organization, and recommends new practices or changes in emphasis.
Mentors and reviews work of more junior staff for quality purposes.
Technical lead on multi-phase or complex projects.
Effectively collaborate with business and teams to meet defined objectives.
