Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee capital projects
- Lead scope development, design, and construction supervision for assigned projects.
- Identify and implement process improvements that enhance throughput while achieving significant cost savings.
- Collaborate closely with the Plant Leadership Team to formulate both annual and long-term capital plans for the organization.
- Conduct and participate in Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), Management of Change (MOC), Pre-Start Up Safety Reviews, and Process Safety Management (PSM) audits, along with incident investigations.
- Create detailed process flow sheets, preliminary plant layouts, and piping and instrument diagrams to support project objectives.
- Perform or oversee the preparation of detailed design calculations as necessary to inform project direction.
- Review and validate design work, drawings, and calculations prepared by drafting personnel to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Select appropriate equipment and develop comprehensive specifications to meet specific project needs.
- Develop accurate cost estimates and construction schedules, maintaining strict budget control throughout project execution.
- Prepare comprehensive bid packages, solicit bids from contractors, and conduct thorough evaluations of proposals to secure the best value.
- Supervise the compilation of process and equipment documentation while assisting in the formulation of operational procedures.
- Ensure all project execution aspects adhere to safety and regulatory standards, fostering a culture of compliance.
- Stay informed about relevant codes and regulations to protect proprietary information at all times.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering (other engineering degrees considered if accompanied by relevant project engineering experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience.
