Farnsworth Group is seeking a Survey Technician or Land Surveyor in Training in one of the below posting locations. In this role, qualified candidates will conduct and perform Boundary and Topographical Surveys, Construction Layouts, and Oil & Gas Surveys. This position will include a combination of office and field work if needed and may require some travel. Posting Location for this role: St. Louis, MO Specific Requirements include:
- Land Surveyor in Training (LSIT) preferred but not required
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Land Surveying
- Proficiency with GPS, Robotic Total Station and Data Collectors
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation
- Ability to use Trimble Business Office to process files and work establishing or converting coordinate control
- Ability to organize and review field notes
- Ability to read Construction Plans and Right-of-Way Plans
- Experience performing Boundary Research
- Ability to coordinate and direct field crews
- Strong math skills
- Valid drivers license
- This role will require periodic trips in the field.
