Senior Construction Superintendent - ASRC Talent Solutions

JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Construction Superintendent is a department head level position. Directs all field construction activities for major projects involving multiple units. Must possess the administrative and personnel skills necessary to directly manage large operations and capital funded projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Responsible for leading and giving direction to all disciplines in the construction and maintenance areas.

Monitors the current status of projects to ensure problems are identified and solutions are implemented efficiently.

Ensure that personnel safety and accident reporting are implemented consistent with field standards and that a QA / QC plan is in place and being implemented.

Ensure that project documentation and document control procedures are being followed in a timely and efficient manner, as well as cost and progress reporting, project schedule updating, trend identification and estimating.

Responsible for ensuring that construction services preformed for the project are consistent with field performance goals for being safe, economical and environmentally sound.

Serves as the principle point of contact for non specific project matters.

Applies company labor relations policy in the field.

Determines assignments of construction operations for various units and work areas to construction managers as required.

Coordinates the assignments of manpower, materials and equipment to maximize efficiency, maintain schedules and meet budget goals.

Comply with Company and customer policies and procedures.

Support AES zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations.

Other duties will be assigned to this position as needed.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in business or a related field

10+ years of work experience in a large industrial or construction project environment and/or a combination of education and experience

10+ year of working in a leadership role within the oil and gas field

Must be cognizant of current business practices and procedures

Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience working in an Arctic Environment.

WORKING ON THE NORTH SLOPE

While working on the North Slope of Alaska, your lodging and food will be provided to you. All camps provide warm meals and options to grab a quick lunch or snack from the spike rooms. Rooms vary from single status to shared rooms where your roommate may work the opposite shift. Wi-Fi and Internet is free and available within the camp. Services vary depending upon where you are staying; however, most facilities offer housekeeping, self-serve laundry, commissary, mail, gyms, TV/Theater Room, etc. Each facility will have their own accommodations and policies that will be reviewed upon on-site orientation.
