Maintenance Electrician

$32+/hr

A client of ours is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to keep their facilitys electrical systems running efficiently!

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair emergency electrical issues promptly.
• Read, modify, and create electrical schematics, PID, and ladder logic diagrams.
• Troubleshoot and program PLCs, DC drives, and VFDs.
• Install and repair three-phase motor controls, lighting systems, and instrumentation.
• Run conduit, pull wire, and perform basic plumbing and welding repairs.
• Assist with mechanical tasks as needed.
• Maintain clean tools, work cart, shop, and spare parts storage.
• Complete paperwork and work orders accurately.
• Follow National Electric Code, lock-out tag-out procedures, and CGMPs.
• Label wires, cables, and equipment properly.
• Comply with safety rules and report concerns.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Education/Experience: High school diploma/GED; electrical training from trade school, apprenticeship, military, or proven experience.

Skills:

• Read electrical schematics, blueprints, and diagrams; write basic correspondence; communicate effectively.
• Basic math (rates, ratios, percentages).
• Problem-solving with standardized situations.
• Basic computer skills (Windows, Word, Excel) desirable but not required.
• Physical Demands: Stand ~8 hours/day; lift 50 lbs occasionally, 25 lbs regularly; good vision for close and distance tasks.
• Work Environment: Work with moving parts in a loud setting (hearing protection required).
• Availability: Flexible to work over 8 hours/day or 5 days/week as needed.
