Compensation Range$32.00 - $34.00Job Description Summary:Read blueprints and other specifications to determine method ofinstallation, work procedures, and material and tool requirements. Hangdrywall on walls and ceilings, cutting to fit. Patch drywall to remove anyseams and fill gaps. Support activities at all Swinerton job-sites asdirected.Job Description:ESSENTIAL RESPONSBILITES AND DUTIES:Trim rough edges from wall to maintain even joints, fit and fasten wallboardor sheetrock into specified positionMeasure and mark cutting lines on framing, drywall, and trimInstall blanket installation in-between studs and tacks plastic moisturebarrier over installationAssemble and install metal framing and decorative trim for windows, doorwaysand ventsRead blueprints and other specifications to determine method ofinstallation, work procedures, material and tool requirementsLay out reference lines and points, computes position of framing, andmarks position, using chalk lineSuspend angle iron grid and channel iron from ceilingInstall horizontal and vertical metal or wooden studs for attachment ofwallboard on interior walls, using hand toolsCut metal or wood framing, angle and channel iron, and trim to size,using cutting toolsInspect furring's, mechanical mountings, and masonry surface forplumbness and level, using spirit or water levelLayout walls from gridlinesFabricate box headers and king stud assembliesAttach framing to floor using powder actuated fasteners or screwsFrame window and door opening systemsBuild and install box headersFrame for openings for mechanical and other openings in accordance withstructural drawingsEnsure walls are level and plumbInstall door jambs in framing as requiredFrame block-outs for doors, windows and other openingsInstall access panels in framing, black iron ceiling systems, grid ceilingsystems, drywall, sheathing or cement board in accordance withspecifications or local building codesInstall flashing at windows and doors and sound and fire caulking as requiredMay supervise small crewsComplete other responsibilities as assignedSKILLS OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:Ability to learn new skills with attention to detailLift and/or pull 75lbs., climb ladders, work off ladders, man lifts orother equipmentAbility to maintain a standing position for extended periods of time, fullysquat, bend or kneel while wearing a tool beltMust have knowledge of fire rated assemblies and local building codesUnderstand fall protection systems and working from heightsCapable of working in a variety of weather conditionsUphold Swinerton Core Values of Integrity, Leadership, Passion andExcellence at all timesAdhere to all OSHA and Swinerton safety practices and proceduresSUMMARY OF BENEFITS:This role is eligible for the following benefits: medical, dental,vision, 401(k) with company matching, Employee Stock Ownership Program(ESOP), individual stock ownership, paid vacation, paid sickleave, employee assistance program, basic term life insurance andAD&D, business travel accident insurance, short term disability,financial wellness coaching, Care.com membership, ClassPass fitnessmembership, and DashPass delivery membership.
