Compensation Range$20.00 - $31.00Job Description Summary:Prepare unfinished interior drywall panels for painting by taping andfinishing joints and imperfections. Finisher must be detailed orientated withuniform results. Support activities at all Swinerton job-sites as directed.Job Description:ESSENTIAL RESPONSBILITES AND DUTIES:Prepare unfinished interior drywall panels for painting by taping andfinishing joints and imperfectionsApply drywall compound, nail/screw indentations on the surface of panelsRemove extra compound after surfaces have been covered sufficientlyPress paper tape over joints to embed tape into sealing compound and to sealjointsSpread sealing compound between boards or panels or over cracks, holes,nail heads, or screw heads, using trowels, broad knives, or spatulasSeal joints between plasterboard or other wallboard to prepare wall surfacesfor painting or paperingSand or patch nicks or cracks in plasterboard or wallboardUse mechanical applicators that spread compounds and embed tape in oneoperationApply additional coats to fill in holes and make surfaces smoothInstall metal molding at wall corners to secure wallboardCapable of providing detailed, uniform resultsMay supervise small crewsComplete other responsibilities as assignedSKILLS OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:Ability to learn new skills with attention to detailLift and/or pull 75lbs., climb ladders, work off ladders, man lifts orother equipmentAbility to maintain a standing position for extended periods of time, fullysquat, bend or kneel while wearing a tool beltCapable of working in a variety of weather conditionsUphold Swinerton Core Values of Integrity, Leadership, Passion andExcellence at all timesAdhere to all OSHA and Swinerton safety practices and proceduresSupport activities at all Swinerton job-sites as directedThis role is eligible for the following benefits: medical, dental,vision, 401(k) with company matching, Employee Stock Ownership Program(ESOP), individual stock ownership, paid vacation, paid sickleave, employee assistance program, basic term life insurance andAD&D, business travel accident insurance, short term disability,financial wellness coaching, Care.com membership, ClassPass fitnessmembership, and DashPass delivery membership.
