Plumber

1. Journeyman or equivalent
2. 5+ years experience as a plumber
3. Good working knowledge of water supply, heating and ventilation systems
4. Good listening, communication and interpersonal skills
5. Valid NJ Drivers license and clean driving record
6. Ability to pass the required Criminal History Review and the Sexual Misconduct/Child Abuse Disclosure
7. Ability to work in a school setting
8. Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, kneel and reach in all directions
9. Ability to lift 50 lbs
10. Possess physical dexterity
11. Ability to climb ladders and work in high places
12. Ability to work outside in heat and cold
13. Ability to pass the required physical examination for employment.
14. OSHA 30 certification required or must obtain within 6 months of employment.

1. Installation, maintenance, repair of plumbing fixtures and systems
2. Required to obtain AHERA/OSHA certification in asbestos maintenance & operations and perform job tasks as required
3. Gaining knowledge in boiler operations and repair and maintenance
4. Reading of blueprints to assess or plan plumbing installation and layouts
5. Perform such other tasks and assume such other responsibilities as assigned by the facilities director or person in charge.
