TIG welder Details:
Temp-to-Hire position
$18.00 to $35.00 /hour
Full Time work available
Weekend work required
First Shift (Monday through Sunday)
Welding: Performs TIG welding activities on various metal types like steel, aluminum, or stainless steel, following blueprints and specifications.
Equipment Setup and Maintenance: Sets up and maintains TIG welding equipment, including gas tanks, torches, and regulators.
Blueprint Interpretation: Reads and interprets engineering drawings and blueprints to determine welding requirements.
Material Preparation: Prepares materials for welding, including cutting and shaping metal components.
Quality Control: Inspects completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards and safety protocols.
Safety: Adheres to welding safety procedures and wears appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
TIG welder Qualifications:
Experience with TIG welding, knowledge of related welding processes (like MIG), and the ability to read blueprints.
Welding Certifications are preferred.
HS diploma or GED
Applicant may be subject to a background check
Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
