Equipment Operator

Our client, a leading player in the distribution industry, is seeking an Equipment Operator to join their team. As an Equipment Operator, you will be part of the warehouse team supporting the efficient movement of goods. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and excellent teamwork skills, which will align successfully with the organization's mission.

Job Title: Equipment Operator

Location: Portland, OR

Pay Range: $25.25 per hour

What's the Job?

• Safely operate material handling equipment (MHE) including forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Unload trailers, verify product accuracy, and stage items for put-away.
• Pull orders from warehouse locations and utilize conveyor systems for sorting and staging.
• Load trucks according to delivery requirements while maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Assist in physical inventories and cycle counting as directed.

What's Needed?

• 1+ year of experience operating power equipment (forklift, cherry picker, etc.).
• 1+ year of warehouse experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to lift 35-48 lbs consistently and occasionally move up to 100 lbs.
• Must be able to clear a 4-panel drug screen and background check.
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
