Superintendent

One of the regions top General Contractors is hiring an experienced Superintendent with expertise in ground-up commercial or industrial construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and detail-oriented individual who enjoys working on diverse and challenging projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site leadership and supervision for ground-up commercial construction projects.
  • Ensure projects are executed according to plans, specifications, and timelines, regardless of the location.
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and construction crews at various project sites.
  • Conduct regular inspections to maintain high-quality standards and identify any potential issues or risks, regardless of geographical location.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure seamless project progress, regardless of project location.
  • Oversee the implementation of safety protocols and ensure compliance with local regulations at all project sites.
  • Monitor project budgets and make recommendations for cost-effective solutions, regardless of project location.
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide project updates and address any concerns or queries.
  • Resolve construction-related problems or conflicts in a timely and efficient manner, regardless of project location.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Lead Superintendent in ground-up commercial construction projects.
  • Ability to manage and run projects $40M+
  • Strong knowledge of construction techniques, codes, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage and supervise construction teams.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the state.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate construction vehicles and equipment safely.
