We are seeking a dedicated Project Engineer to support a groundbreaking construction in the Fargo-Moorhead community. In this role, you'll collaborate with a talented team and contribute to an initiative that truly matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with project leadership to develop and maintain schedules.
Manage relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
Mentor junior engineers and foster a collaborative environment.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders on project updates and concerns.
Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
Oversee material orders, assist with pre-construction activities, and prepare necessary documentation.
Maintain financial records, monitor costs, and manage job costing systems.
Assist in project close-out activities and provide support for estimates as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in bridge construction.
Strong understanding of cost analysis, CPM scheduling, and excellent computer skills.
Ability to read and interpret plans and mentor less experienced team members.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment:
Work will be both indoors and outdoors, with exposure to various elements.
Ability to wear personal protective equipment and navigate uneven terrain.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and remain stationary for extended periods.
Quick response to sounds and the ability to communicate effectively are essential.
