LEX PRODUCTS****Job Title:Welder****Department: Sheet Metal Department- 11 Forest Parkway Shelton,CT****Summary:**The primary role for this Welder is competently perform MIG and TIG welding tasks.Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:**To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.- Properly performing MIG, TIG and other welding activities.- Reading blueprints, shop drawings and other production documents.- Operate other shop equipment to meet department and customer demand.- Follows and adheres to all company and departmental procedures and policies.- Use good judgment in performing tasks correctly the first time through.- Provide input to help improve the performance of the department.- Perform tasks while complying with company safety policies.- Maintain a safe and clean work environment (may require sweeping, mopping, trash removal)- Promptly report to supervisor all observations that are relevant to ensure a safe and efficient operation in the department.- Communicate with managers, peers, and subordinates on a routine basis.- Timely and accurately completes documentation.- Work overtime when needed.- Perform other duties as required.
