General Electrician, C&I

We are currently seeking a General Electrician, C&I, for our client on a 2-month contract basis in Rancho Cordova, California. The ideal candidate will be a qualified electrical technician with at least 2 years of relevant experience. Key duties include installing, operating, testing, and maintaining electrical equipment, conduit bending, troubleshooting DCS, and performing industrial electrical maintenance.

Job Requirements:

Install and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in buildings

Install circuit breakers and other electrical hardware and connect wiring to them

Ensure piping complies with electrical codes

Connect electrical systems to powerlines to provide electricity to buildings

Test electrical systems to ensure proper installation and operation

Inspect electrical systems to determine whether repairs are needed

Replace conduit and wiring as needed

Replace circuit breakers as needed

Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Qualified Electrical Technician

Proficient in bending conduit (EMT) is required

Proficient in wire bending

Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in a service environment at commercial scale

General electrician code knowledge

Strong communicator

Strong work ethic

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

First Aid trained, CPR

OSHA 10
