Overview
This position is a leadership role supporting designated internal and external customer needs and requirements while achieving specific project goals and objectives. The supervisor is responsible for planning projects designated by management and supervising all employees in his/her department. Actively participates and displays behaviors of the company values and leads department in replicating these behaviors.
This role will be responsible for the following: (1) the leadership of all IXL 1st team members, (2) the management of all areas of truck and heavy equipment maintenance, and (3) the direction of activities so that repairs are completed on schedule, within safety and quality standards, and according to cost objectives.
Accountabilities
- Leads and supervises employees, insuring productivity, profitability quality and safety goals and efficiencies.
- Responsible for helping plan the project schedule, and daily goals to stay on schedule, ordering required materials purchasing.
- Manages tracks and reports work schedules.
- Be proficient in estimating required project materials, and proficient in all skill areas used within the department in order to provide training to employees.
- Communicates with management regarding department activities and personnel needs.
- Complete job orders as required.
- Complete daily job sheets reporting all work performed in the department.
- Manage preventative maintenance program to meet company standards.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in related area performed.
- 1-3 years supervisory experience.
- 3 years' experience in a maintenance facility
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, and desire to work with all levels of management and employees within the company.
- Safety, quality, and production awareness.
- Assertive/Professional attitude.
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs.
