The Senior Project Manager reports to the Project Executive and has responsibility for their designated project assignment which includes a "cradle to grave" approach for its designated construction scope and subcontractor management.

Job Description:

  • Acquire all required permits and support for project specific work
  • Environmental Management and compliance with plan
  • Executing the project plan and approach for all subcontractors and field staff
  • Make form drawings, isometrics, plan and profiles, utilities, crane, and lift drawings
  • Developing Job Operation Reports for specific construction scope or managing trade
  • Oversee and implement the project Quality Program and support required inspections
  • Ensure proper Care & Maintenance is performed on Permanent Equipment or Installation
  • Responsible for cost
  • Development & implementation of detailed schedules for all areas of the project work
  • Organizing its subcontractor onsite staffing needs to meet contract and project demands
  • Coordination with the Senior Project Manager for resources and reporting on performance
  • Tracking subcontractor performance cost, production with trend charts
  • Understand and manage project Labor Unions Agreements when applicable
  • Planning operations for production, safety, and quality control
  • Ensure disciplines are tracking their productivity and controlling their cost
  • Resolve resources and scheduling conflicts.
  • Ensure the Quality Plan is being implemented effectively - No Rework
  • Regularly inspect the work to verify a quality product, report deficiencies
  • Weekly scheduling meeting
  • Play of the Day meetings
  • Review and participates with its subcontractors for all Critical Lift Plans
  • Review requisitions for subcontractors

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10+ years' experience in project controls for construction projects

  • Five 5+ years experiencer as a Project Manager required

  • Experience working on projects valued at 100 million minimum for a general contractor desired

  • Strong ability to read and interpret construction documents and execute project based on scope of work requirements, specifications and schedules

  • Excellent organizational, leadership and communication skills

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently

  • Excellent written and verbal skills
