## **Concrete Sealer Technician**: {data-start="182" end="241"}:**Position Title:** Concrete Sealer Technician**Location:**601 F St. NW 20004**Company:** Home Answers Inc.**Project Type:** Public Works - [e.g., Concrete Slab Sealing]**Reports To:** Site Superintendent / Project Manager### ### **Job Summary:**Home Answers Construction and Development is seeking a skilled and safety-focused **Concrete Sealer Technician** for a project involving surface preparation and application of protective sealants on concrete surfaces. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with commercial-grade concrete sealers and coatings and a strong understanding of surface prep, safety protocols, and manufacturer specifications.------------------------------------------------------------------------### **Key Responsibilities:**- Prepare concrete surfaces using proper cleaning, degreasing, and etching techniques (e.g., pressure washing, mechanical grinding)- Apply various types of sealers (acrylic, epoxy, silane/siloxane, etc.) via roller, sprayer, or squeegee- Maintain required surface and environmental conditions during sealing process- Follow all public works project protocols, including environmental containment and stormwater protection- Accurately mix and apply sealing products per manufacturer guidelines- Ensure proper PPE usage and compliance with OSHA safety standards- Complete daily work logs and coordinate with field supervisors- Protect work areas and maintain cleanliness of project site------------------------------------------------------------------------### **Qualifications:**- 2+ years of experience in concrete sealing, finishing, or waterproofing- Familiarity with public works or prevailing wage job site environments- Knowledge of moisture testing, cure times, and adhesion properties- Ability to read product data sheets (PDS), SDS, and basic construction plans- Strong attention to detail and quality control- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions- Reliable transportation and punctuality required------------------------------------------------------------------------### **Preferred Certifications:**- OSHA 10 or 30- Silica Safety or Respiratory Protection Training- Manufacturer product certification (e.g., Sika, Euclid, BASF - preferred)- Lead Worker/RRP if near lead-containing surfaces (optional, if applicable)
