Job Description
Reports to: Vice President of Rigging Division General Purpose Support the Rigging Team with lift plan preparation, proposal assistance, and personnel access to sites and permits. Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities Using variables provided by the Rigging Team and site investigation, create, verify, and submit lift plans for crane and rigging operations using 2D/3D/LICCON Lift Planning software Create drawings using AutoCAD for use in the bidding process and lift plan proposals Create and submit AHAs and MOPs for lift plans Draw crane positioning on site plans Communicate and coordinate with customers regarding project and lift plan information Distribute lift plans and associated documents to appropriate individuals and entities Type and submit customer proposals Develop and maintain Rigging Division Dispatch Sheets. Ensure accuracy, and proper and timely distribution of same. Support daily activities of the rigging division as directed Provide IT support to the Corporate IT Manager as needed Position Requirements Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to multi-task Must have enthusiasm and possess excellent customer service skills Excellent communication, listening and computer skills Maintain a positive demeanor and contribute toward a quality work environment Ability to work without personal phone use, texting, Facebook, and other social internet sites Must possess a valid driver's license and good driving record Ability to type accurately and proof own work Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering or related field preferred; or equivalent of three years of experience in a progressively responsible project management position; or an equivalent combination sufficient to perform the Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities of this position Mastery of AutoCAD with an aptitude toward similar software. Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, walk, sit, and use hands to operate computer keyboard and telephone The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds The employee must have visual acuity sufficient to operate motor vehicle and digital camera, as well as other equipment The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, or crouch Other Requirements Able to prove U.S. Employment eligibility Ability to pass drug screening Ability to pass formal background check Ability to communicate with others both orally and written. Must be clearly understood and have a good command of the English language Demonstrate the ability to cope with stress and maintain a pleasant and cooperative temperament with internal and external customers. Must have a neat personal appearance Business must be conducted with the highest level of personal integrity Consistently maintain the confidentiality of sensitive company information Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities Note: All duties, responsibilities, and requirements stated above are essential job functions.
