About the Role
As a Maintenance Electrical Technician at Zekelman Industries Wheatland Tube in Warren, Ohio, youll play a critical role in keeping manufacturing operations running smoothly by maintaining and troubleshooting a variety of electrical systems and equipment. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, rotating-shift environment and enjoys diagnosing and solving complex technical problems.

Shift: Rotating 8-Hour Shifts
Pay: $35.20

What Youll Do
Promotes and enforces a safe, healthy work environment in accordance with OSHA and company safety policies, including LOTO and Arc Flash procedures
Performs reactive, preventive, and predictive maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment
Diagnoses root causes of electrical malfunctions and develops effective corrective actions
Troubleshoots and repairs electrical components such as relays, switches, motors, and sensors
Reads, understands, and completes work orders and documentation related to maintenance duties
Operates and maintains medium and low voltage equipment (480V24V), power distribution, instrumentation, and control systems
Troubleshoots PLC systems and machine network infrastructure, including Allen-Bradley and HMI devices
Maintains a clean and organized workspace while conserving maintenance resources
Stays current with technical knowledge through training, reading, and networking
Performs other related duties as assigned
Maintains regular, full-time, on-site attendance as an essential function of the role

Who You Are
5+ years of experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing environment
Degree, diploma, or documented training in electrical systems from an accredited college or trade school required
Proficient in troubleshooting PLCs, VFDs, DC drives, and induction heating units
Experience with Allen-Bradley programmable logic controllers and ladder logic preferred
Skilled in reading electrical schematics and using diagnostic tools
Prior experience in tube or heavy manufacturing environments preferred
Strong attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime
Team-oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Physical Abilities
Must be able to lift, bend, climb, and stand for long periods. Work may include exposure to heights, confined spaces, and high temperatures typical of a manufacturing environment.
