Experienced Carpenter

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and carpentry, with the ability to work effectively on various projects. This role requires a hands-on approach and the capability to interpret schematics and blueprints, ensuring that all tasks are completed to high standards of quality and safety.

Duties

• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, metal studs and wallboard.
• Frame carpentry for residential and commercial buildings.
• Assemble and install cabinets, doors, windows, and other fixtures.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
• Perform restoration work on existing structures as needed.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure project timelines are met.
• Assist with construction estimating to determine project costs and materials needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.

Experience

• Proven experience working in a construction site environment.
• Familiarity with maintenance person tasks including plumbing and electrical work is a plus.
• Proficient in using power tools and understanding of safety protocols.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of carpentry work.

Compensation

• $22-30 / hr. based on skills and experience
