PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Maintenance and repair of motors
- Maintenance on control boxes
- Maintenance on PLC's, variable speed drives etc.
- Maintenance on starters
- Run of conduit and wiring
- Replacement of parts as needed
- Installing and removal of machinery
- Know emergency procedures when lights go out in plant
- Maintain records and files
- Housekeeping
- Procedures for lockout/tag out
- Clean up at the end of job
- Responsible for monitoring, record keeping, and taking appropriate action for specified Food Safety Plan, Food Quality Plan and prerequisite program requirements.
- Responsible to report food safety and quality issues to management.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma, General Educational Development Diploma (GED) or equivalent experience
- Strong background in electrical
- Good work history
- Minimum 3 years' experience as an electrician in an industrial environment preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

- Basic PLC understanding and usage skills
- Must be able to understand and carry out basic instructions while performing manual labor related tasks
- Must be able to successfully use basic, math, writing, and reading skills necessary to complete the required paperwork and projects

- On the job training:
- Complete Apprenticeship program
- Credit for previous applicable schooling

- GMP, Food Safety for Maintenance
