Job Description
We are currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for our manufacturing/bottling facility to maintain, fix, and improve equipment used in bottling and packaging operations.
Factory Location: Stanwood, MI
Compensation: $30.15 / hour
Shift Differential: 6%-8% of base hourly rate shift differential paid for applicable hours worked
Schedule: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm, Monday - Friday
Ability to work holidays and weekends per business needs

Key Responsibilities
Maintain, fix, and improve equipment used in bottling operation.
Plan, organize and perform preventive maintenance on all equipment.
Work with the team of technicians to meet daily schedule requirements; provide break relief as needed.
Reactive maintenance on production lines to recover from component failure
Work with technical department to support maintenance that is required
Proactive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime
Good Communication skills to maintain a winning attitude with all team members
Creative problem solving to perform equipment improvements
Provide break relief to team members
Operate a forklift as needed to complete duties
Repair mechanical, electrical, and structural components
Qualifications
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience; additional technical training or certifications desired
Two or more years of previous experience in an industrial manufacturing environment preferred
Demonstrated sense of urgency in completing tasks and comfort working in a high-speed production environment
Strong mechanical and electrical skills; PLC experience desired
Solid computer skills, including the use of Word, Excel, Outlook
Experience with CMMS or ERP systems preferred, SAP experience a plus
Ability to work independently or with a team and communicate effectively
Solid problem solving and decision-making skills
Able to lift and pull 50 lbs as needed while performing work
Must be able to do physical inspections of equipment that will require climbing, reaching, and extending arms overhead
Ability to successfully complete an online skills assessment prior to onsite interview
