Civil Engineer | Duluth, MN | $88K-$128K DOE | Full-Time + Benefits
A well-established, multidisciplinary engineering and environmental consultancy is seeking a motivated Civil Engineer to join their growing team in Duluth, MN. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-impact projects across industrial, commercial, energy, and public sectors-collaborating with industry experts and contributing to the design and development of essential infrastructure.
What You'll Do:
Lead and perform all aspects of civil site design including grading, drainage, water, sewer, erosion control, hydrology, and utility plans.
Prepare technical documentation including construction drawings, specs, bid packages, and permit applications.
Participate in cost estimation, value engineering, and quality control processes.
Manage multiple projects and contribute to client meetings, site visits, and agency coordination.
Assist with business development and proposal preparation.
Provide support across all project phases while ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and engineering standards.
What You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
Professional Engineer (PE) license in Minnesota or ability to obtain within 12 months.
Minimum of 4 years of progressive civil engineering design experience.
Experience working with AutoCAD Civil3D; familiarity with hydrology/hydraulic software and BlueBeam Revu is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel (up to 20%, including occasional overnight stays).
