Now Hiring for a Custom Cabinet Maker in Newport, MN! 1st Shift Shift : Mon-Fri 8:00AM - 5:00PM Payrate : $24.00 - $29.00 ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILIES Cabinet Building Assist in selecting and preparing materials such as wood, plywood, and veneers according to project specifications Measure and cut materials accurately using saws, routers, and other woodworking tools Follow detailed drawings and blueprints to assemble cabinet components Use hand tools and power tools to assemble cabinet parts, including joining, gluing, and nailing pieces together Sand, stain, and paint cabinets as required, ensuring a high-quality finish Quality Inspect finished cabinets for defects and ensure they meet company standards and client specifications Maintain and clean tools and equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance and safety Collaboration and Development Work closely with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure timely and accurate completion of project Communicate effectively to address any issues or discrepancies encountered during the production process Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in cabinet making Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and best practices Make adjustments as necessary to ensure precision and quality #nowhiring QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma or equivalent Technical Degree in related field preferred Experience with woodworking tools Ability to read blueprints and schematics Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work Good problem solving skills and ability to follow instructions accurately Other responsibilities Other duties as assigned Ability to be cross trained in more than one area Follow all company safety policies and procedures Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work well with others
