Stantec, a global leader in design of waterfront infrastructure and other large-scale, heavy civil works facilities, is currently seeking a Senior Structural/Waterfront Engineer for our New England Transportation operations dedicated to marine and waterfront infrastructure projects. Our multidisciplinary team specializes in the planning and design of waterfront projects, including dry docks, bulkheads and seawalls, piers and wharves, movable transfer bridges and ferry terminals. Your Opportunity
Stantec is seeking a highly qualified senior structural engineer specializing in marine and waterfront design to support our transportation practice in New England. The selected candidate must be able to manage and technically lead teams in the design and construction administration of complex waterfront projects for public and private sector clients throughout the region. This position is flexible between our Burlington MA office and remote work. Our Burlington MA office at Blue Sky Center offers unrivaled amenities including an on-site fitness center, walking paths, secure bicycle storage, indoor and outdoor courts and games, golf simulator, cafe, and EV charging stations. The office is close to the Burlington Mall and Routes 3, 62 and 128 with ample on-site parking and plenty of lunch options nearby. Other regional office locations include Boston MA and Auburn, NH. Your Key Responsibilities
Specific responsibilities of the Senior Structural/Waterfront Engineer include:
+ Performs marine and waterfront engineering assignments that are broad and varied in nature, requiring sound application of technical codes, standards, and guidelines.
