We're currently seeking a highly motivated Compliance Construction Manager located in Los Angeles, CA .
Required Education:
- High School Diploma
Preferred Education:
- Bachelor's Degree
Required Qualifications:
In order to become a candidate, you must possess the following skills and abilities.
- QSP Required; QSD preferred.
- Knowledge of AQMD requirements.
- CARB compliance monitoring required.
- Solid background in environmental regulations (i.e., air quality, stormwater, sustainability, hazardous materials, etc.)
Responsibilities:
- Experience in mitigation monitoring and compliance with the ability to prioritize duties and deliverables based on changing conditions, as applicable.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Conducting field inspections to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and mitigation measures while utilizing LAWA's Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program (MMRP) Data Collection and Reporting System (DCRS) Field Application.
- Uploading compliance documentation to LAWA's MMRP DCRS Web Application.
- Reviewing and approving construction equipment submittals, hauling waivers, and other application construction documents in compliance with contractual requirements and project MMRP.
- Resolving Non-Compliance Issues with LAWA construction contractors, subcontractors, tenants and their contractors, project managers, EPU staff, the lead Mitigation Monitors, other LAWA staff, and state, local, and federal regulatory agencies as applicable.
- Working and coordinating with LAWA's lead Mitigation Monitors, Construction Inspectors, and Coordination and Logistics Management (CALM) team.
- Reviewing, understanding, applying, and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements (e.g., Project Requirements 18), updates to the LAWA Design and Construction Handbook, MMRP requirements, and other environmental commitments for existing and upcoming CIP and tenant improvement projects.
- Attending quarterly MMRP meetings with LAWA project managers, EPU staff, and the lead Mitigation Monitors to discuss and address any major non-compliance issues.
- Other related duties as assigned.

Salary:
- $145,000.00 - $217,000.00 annually
Bonus Pay:
A bonus may be granted to employees depending on individual performance, employee utilization, attendance, tenure, and furtherance of other non-financial corporate goals; bonus opportunities are available at management's discretion.
