Job Description
Megen Construction Company, Inc. is currently seeking a Construction Project Superintendent to join our team for a large multi-family development in southeast Florida. As a key member of our construction management team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all field operations of this project from start to finish.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage all on-site construction activities
- Conduct weekly subcontractor meetings
- Ensure project is completed on time and within budget
- Manage day to day and overall project schedule.
- Issue updated look-ahead schedules for weekly Trade Partner and OAC meetings.
- Review and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
- Manage the RFI process.
- Work with the Project Management team to ensure all of the following requirements are met::
- project deadlines,
- milestones,
- Trade Partner performance
- quality standards
- invoicing/cash flow requirements
- safety requirements
- Manage Trade Partners and vendors
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations
- Prepare and submit progress reports
- Utilize Bluebeam software for project documentation
- Handle submittals and change orders efficiently
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience managing all on-site day to day operations of projects with budgets in excess of $10MM.
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles
- Procore advanced competency
- OSHA 30 certification
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Experience with Bluebeam, submittals, and change orders
- Fluent in Spanish and English
