Job Overview - Responsible for performing installation, repair, testingand maintenance of for electric signs Position Type - Full-time - Salary(exempt) Ideal Candidate \* Licensed Massachusetts Electrician \* Ableto pull wiring/electrical permits \* Able to work independently \*Organized \* Detail-oriented Requirements Essential Responsibilities andDuties Install electrical equipment and components in a neat andprofessional manner following Massachusetts Electrical Code and SafetyStandards Perform sign and lighting installation, repair, maintenance,and testing, including controllers, transformers, ballasts, lightingsystems, communication, power circuits and equipment Provide technicalexpertise for installers and sign and lighting technicians Read andinterpret work orders and follow instructions for timely and qualitycompletion of assigned daily projects Work cooperatively with sales andother production departments on project-related issues and questions toensure efficient production and meet deadlines Complete quality check ofwork and track jobs through internal production software AdditionalResponsibilities and Duties Maintain safe and clean work area at alltimes Other duties as assigned Qualifications To perform this jobsuccessfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential dutysatisfactorily. Required LicensedMassachusetts Master Electrician Working knowledge of computers,primarily Windows environment Experience in hands-on work environmentReliability, flexibility and a professional attitude and appearanceStrong work ethic and ability to manage time and multiple prioritieseffectively Ability to correctly use and read a tape measure Strong mathskills (addition, multiplication, division, geometry, fractions, anddecimals) Ability to lift stock and materials of 25 lbs. without machineassistance Ability to: troubleshoot problems and develop solutions;read, understand, and interpret work orders; follow written and oralinstructions; correctly use and read a tape measure; multitask in aschedule-driven environment with the ability to maintain accuracy; takedirection and willingness to learn; work off shift hours as needed; workas part of a team and unsupervised Valid Driver License High school ortrade school diploma or GED United States Work Authorization PreferredLicensed Master Electrician in other New England states Sign industryexperience Physical Abilities The physical demands described here arerepresentative of those that must be met by an employee to successfullyperform the essential functions of this job.
