Working Foreman/ Superintendent (Miramar)

Working Foreman/ Superintendent with miscellaneous concrete/ shell construction experience needed to manage daily activities for construction projects to ensure timely completion. The incumbent would be expected to preempt and solve issues that could delay progress, while enforcing safety and cleanliness on site and promoting company values with the workforce.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise subcontractors and personnel
- Efficiently schedule and organize daily tasks
- Manage permit and inspection processes
- Physical inspection of projects to monitor progress
- Manage the scope and quality of projects to maintain compliance with contract documents and standards
- Complete daily field reports with project photographs
- Schedule updates and e-mail correspondence
- Conduct regularly scheduled progress meetings

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience in commercial/ municipal construction
- Must have miscellaneous concrete/ shell construction experience.
- Ability to schedule and coordinate on-site activities
- Working knowledge of civil, structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical work
- Ability to read plans
- Ready to strap on tool belt when required, and have own tools
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation (pick-up truck preferred)
- Drug-free and must be able to pass a background check
- Must be accountable and conduct business with integrity
- Must have positive attitude and take pride in their work
- OSHA 30 certified (required)
- Broward/ Miami Dade School Board Security Clearance (preferred but not required)
