Construction Project Mgr

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Prepares and evaluates projects, generates cost estimates, designs the clinic space working with the architect and contractor, reads and interprets design documents, and reviews for completeness and quality, i.e. maintenance, construction, code compliance, and function.
  • Identifies and manages project risks, issues, and opportunities proactively.
  • Leads facilities management across the system for de novos, acquisitions & existing for refresh.
  • Coordinates and manages the day-to-day construction of a new clinic or the refresh of an acquired clinic
  • Oversee project and operating budgets, creating cost projections, and performing project cost tracking for assigned projects.
  • Communicates and documents project plan, status updates, business goals, and governance plan to team and stakeholders.
  • Ensures project deliverables are on time, high quality, and on budget.

Qualifications and Required Skills :

  • Must possess a strong knowledge of architecture, construction, and/or engineering as normally demonstrated through experience and/or the completion of a relevant degree.
  • Five years of progressive project management experience.
  • Must have proven experience directing and managing multiple resources and projects.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and related contract regulatory documents. Must possess a thorough working knowledge of building codes, materials and standards and project tracking tools.
  • Must be able to compute job costs, prepare and monitor project budgets and schedules, a well as use and interpret typical contracts and agreements.
  • Requires strong written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills.
  • Requires ability to listen, negotiate, and resolve conflicts.
  • Must be able to work independently and effectively align resources to achieve business goals.
  • Must exercise independent judgment and be able to maintain confidential information.
  • Must have excellent knowledge of MS office software, project management software

  • 5 - 8 years: Project Management
Preferred
  • 2 - 5 years: Architecture, Construction, and/or Engineering
Education Preferred
  • Associates or better in Architecture or related field
