We are seeking a licensed plumber to provide plumbing and heating services forcustom homes in the Telluride area. Transportation provided from Montrosedaily. Four-day work week. Must be able to provide exceptional, high-qualityservice to our customers and contractors. Our ideal candidate isexperienced, dependable, licensed, or able to be licensed and insured.Problem solving skills, strong work ethic, attention to detail is a must.Strong troubleshooting skills for complicated hydronic heating and plumbingsystems would be helpful. Must have a clean driving record.ResponsibilitiesRead blueprints and drawings to understand or plan the layout ofplumbing, waste disposal and water supply systemsCut, assemble and install pipes and tubes with attention to existinginfrastructure (e.g. electrical wiring)Install and maintain water supply systemsLocate and repair issues with water supply lines (e.g., leaks)Repair or replace broken drainage lines, clogged drains, faucets etc.Repair domestic appliances (e.g., washing machines) and fixtures(e.g., sinks) etc.Install and maintain gas and liquid heating systems (air-conditioningunits, radiators etc.)Install waste disposal and sanitary systems with well-functioning DWVsystemsSkillsProven experience as a plumberSolid understanding of water distribution and disposal systems inresidential, commercial, and industrial buildingsWorking knowledge of heating and ventilation systems as well as appliancesAbility to handle plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipecutters, plungers etc.)Good communication and interpersonal skillsFriendly with a great deal of patienceGood physical condition and strength with the ability to work in awkwardspacesDiploma from a trade school or successful completion of apprenticeshipValid license to practice profession
