Job Description
In general, all Electrician roles are required to repair, install, replace, program, and test all electrical circuits, and equipment - Periodically perform or assist others in routine to moderately complex repairs or installation of automatic electrical and electronic controls - Perform routine electrical/electronic predictive and preventative maintenance on mill equipment - Responsible for the repair, modification, and maintenance of a variety of electrical and electronic equipment Perform tasks like wiring circuits, replacing components, and repairing electronic devices - Able to use hand and power tools and to understand proper use, including multi-meter and Megger and knowledge of 480-volt 3 Phase AC to perform test readings - Remain current in technical changes or equipment designs by attending classes as needed - Work rotating shifts, which includes nights, holidays, weekends, and overtime as scheduled or required - Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment and completing all required training - Other duties as assigned - Lock-out procedures - Electrical circuitry and components, including circuit breakers, motors, and controllers, control devices, motor theory, rigging, precision alignments - Reading and interpreting electrical schematics - Computer and PLC skills ELECTRICIAN
