Industrial Electrician
Pay: $36-$38/hr (based on experience)
Opportunity Summary: As the Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technician, you will be responsible for leading the Electrical & Instrumentation function to improve plant productivity, reliability and efficiency. You will contribute to the design, construction, commissioning and maintenance of electrical and instrumentation systems and machines of the plant. As the E&I Technician, you will perform daily activities in the areas of safety, quality, and maintenance for all electrical equipment.

- Troubleshoot E&I problems and issues
- Execute industrial electrical plant maintenance including preventative maintenance tasks and troubleshooting plant electrical equipment
- Ensure safe work practices are always followed and demonstrate safety awareness as a core value
- Offer ongoing technical ability to proactively manage and improve E&I equipment availability and reliability
- If applicable, use PLC (Programable Logic Controller) and DCS (Distributed Control System) to review electrical and instrumentation system controls to identify and troubleshoot equipment failures
- Perform job safely without committing unsafe acts while supporting a high standard of housekeeping
What you need to succeed:
- High School diploma or G.E.D.
- EPA license or five plus years of experience as a mechanical craftsman/ electrical engineer
- Working knowledge of safety work practices; such as NFPA 70E, NEC
- PLC and DCS background
- Computerized Maintenance Management Systems experience
- Technical competence
- Working knowledge data historian software
- Mechanical aptitude
- Corrugated experience a plus
