Job Description
A Low Voltage Estimator to support our lineup of Multifamily and Commercial projects involving structured cabling, access control, voice/data, video surveillance, fire alarm systems, and other low-voltage technologies.
This is a detail-oriented role that plays a key part in developing accurate, competitive bids and supporting project success from the ground up.
Review drawings and specifications to define project scope
Perform takeoffs and build detailed estimates and proposals
Participate in jobsite walkthroughs to gather estimating information
Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for pricing
Collaborate with internal teams to align on budgets and timelines
Identify and research potential clients, building strong, lasting relationships.
Collaborate closely with project management team to ensure client satisfaction.
Qualifications :
3-5 years of experience estimating low-voltage systems, such as access control, voice/data, surveillance, structured cabling, and fire alarm systems
Ability to read and interpret construction documents and produce clear, accurate proposals
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management
A confident communicator with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
Strong understanding of the industry and its standards.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
A collaborative, team-oriented mindset with the ability to work well across departments
Experience with OST, EBM, or other estimating tools is a plus
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Occasional jobsite visits, requiring the ability to walk, stand, or climb
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed
