Job Description
Full-time schedules for Summer internships. (40 hour week) Approx. Start Date End of May/Beg of June. This is a paid Internship. Internship salary is based on position and academic year standing.Responsible for supporting the design of various engineering projects, involving the analysis, research, design, development, fabrication and/or testing of a product.RequirementsWork with engineers to facilitate the design of complex digital systems using FPGAs, digital hardware and embedded software. Help in all aspects of the design, including schematic entry, writing VHDL Test Benches for FPGA simulations, and hardware and software integration. Perform necessary tasks as directed by the senior engineer while obtaining a greater understanding of digital circuit design techniques. Qualifications and Education RequirementsWorking towards engineering / technical degree, and currently enrolled to complete desired degree Desire to work in engineering environment. Language SkillsProficiency in Microsoft and Windows applications.VHDL Linux knowledge is a plus.Other Skills and AbilitiesMust have good oral and written communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Self-motivated, and possess a high degree of curiosity and desire to learn new things.Ability to take initiative and multi-task within a fast-paced environment.
